Aim and objective
Personally touched by Christ, the members commit themselves to the Church and to God by the EVANGELICAL COUNSELS. Living in the spirit of the evangelical counsels and the mission they are involved in, the Institute’s way of life gets its deeper meaning. The members strive to find a balance between their oblation to God and their life in the world.
In our every-day lives finding this balance is often difficult and sometimes wearisome, but we can make it by praying and reflecting. An inner openness to the Holy Spirit is the best guide. Without this attitude which also finds expression in looking for God in all things, we are not able to reach our aim: to ‘consecrate the world from within’.
Spirituality
The Institute follows the spirituality of St. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA. This spirituality has a peculiar sensitivity for God’s call in our every-day lives and being ready to do his will. In following Christ members look at Mary, the mother of the Lord, and choose her as their model.
